Giving sixth formers blue teeth

I’m always looking for ways to use existing / cheap tech in the classroom, rather than relying on expensive gadgets.

In this case, my sixth form Critical Thinking class were doing a revision lesson on key terms. We drew up a list of terms on the board, they came up with a given definition on a post-it. We discussed these as a class and made adjustments as necessary. Then each person drew up an A4 poster of their term for the wall.

So far, so fairly normal. But then, I asked the students to get their phones out, snap their poster and transfer it to my laptop via Bluetooth. We then reviewed them through the projector, and I was able to print them all out (6 to a page), so everyone has a copy for their notes!
